Day 25 - Analytics

There's a saying, "what gets measured gets managed" (Peter Drucker).

Many people are unaware that Twitter is one of the platforms that actually provides useful metrics for you.

If you visit the https://analytics.twitter.com/user/[YOUR HANDLE]/home URL, you can see basic metrics and download CSV files containing said metrics.

I encourage you to visit your metrics so you can understand more than just retweets and likes. You can see which tweets get better engagement, which tweets cause people to look at your profile, and which tweets bomb.

Using that information, you can tweak your tweeting strategy.

Now, if you want to kickstart your analysis of your tweets, I created a course demoing just that. It goes into basic metrics, visualizations, and then does machine learning to further analyze them. It shows how to determine whether emoji, newlines, time of day, images, and more impact your tweets.
